Item Description: The present kit is a column-based total viral RNA extraction kit. . Kit is designed to recover high-quality total RNA consistently from fewer than ten cells, even from a single cell. This kit is designed to provide consistent, efficient RNA recovery without sacrificing quality First, the cells are lysed by lysis buffer, and subsequently, the lysate is passed through the column. The viral RNA molecules attach to the column, the buffers and cell remnant are washed out during the washing steps, and eluted into a new RNase-free microtube. The concentration and purity of the extracted viral RNA can be measured using a spectrophotometer at 260 nm and the absorbance ratio (260/280 nm). The extracted viral RNA can be used for multiple purposes, including cloning, gene expression measurement, detection of special viral RNAs in samples, complementary tests (such as RT-PCR, PCR, Southern Blotting), and other enzymatic reactions.
