Item Description: SARS-CoV-2 which emerged and spread in December 2019, can cause pneumonia, fever, fatigue, shortness of breath and death in human societies. The virus is belongs to the coronaviridae family, a genus of beta-corona viruses that contains single-stranded RNA- positive genese.This diagnostic kit qualitatively detects SARS-CoV-2 by TaqMan one-step Real Time PCR method, which is known as the gold standard method of virus detection. This procedure can be helpful in diagnosing Covid-19 disease along with clinical symptoms. Furthermore, due to the prolongation of the pandemic and the creation of many dangerous variants, differential diagnosis of these variants can be helpful in patients finding, disease controlling and prevention programs of the virus. This kit is able to differentiate the English (B.1.1.7) from Brazilian (P1), South African (B.1.351), Indian (B.1.617 and B.1.618) and the other newly-emerged international variants.
